Types of Marker Pen

There are many ways to classify a product according to the different features of it. And we can simply divide markers pen into several categories as following based on its usages and features: permanent markers, highlighters and whiteboard markers.

Permanent marker is applied to create permanent or semi-permanent writing on an object, such as metal, plastics, ceramics, wood, stone cardboard etc. However, the mark made by them is semi-permanent on some surfaces and most permanent marker ink is erasable from some plastic surfaces. For example, the permanent marker is widely used in express or logistics industry. The marks on the cardboard can be permanent and won't be easily erased, which is very important.

A highlighter is a type of writing device used to mark attention to sections of text by marking them with a vivid and vibrant color. Many highlighters come in bright, often fluorescent and translucent colors. Using the highlighter to mark the important texts, we can still clearly see the original contents, which will not affect our reading experience. Generally, highlighters have many vibrant and fluorescent colors.

A whiteboard Marker uses an erasable ink, made to be used on a slick, non-porous writing surface for temporary writing with overhead projectors, whiteboards, and the like. The erasable ink doesn't contain the toxic chemical compounds xylene or toluene, being less of a risk to being used as a recreational drug. Generally, we just need a dry cloth or an eraser to erase the trace. It's very convenient for the daily use.
