How To Restore A Highlighter When It Dries?

Apr 11, 2022

Whether it is a student party or an office worker, there is often a stationery that is indispensable when going to work or study - highlighter. And highlighter has often become a kind of high-consumption study stationery. Sometimes there is no ink after half a month or a month. So, when the highlighter is dry, but I don't want to buy a new one, how to fix it?

1. First, find a dry highlighter and open the cap.

2. Then take out a clean tissue, pinch the tip of the pen and pull it out. Don't use your hands, as they may get on your hands, and then put the tip of the pen aside.

3. The next step is to take a drop or two of clean water from the tap or water cup (do not: only need one or two drops, otherwise the color of the ink will be diluted and become very light or no color.) Then let it sit for a minute and wait for the water to penetrate Inside the highlighter refill.

4. Then install the pen head that was originally put aside, and then cover the lid and shake the highlighter gently to allow the highlighter to absorb the water more fully.

5. In the last step, open the cap and try smearing a few strokes on the paper, you will find that the highlighter that has dried can be reused.

Also, there are many reasons why a highlighter can dry out:

1. The highlighter itself is very small and delicate, so naturally there is not much moisture in the refill.

2. If the pen cap is not covered for a long time, the water in the pen core will evaporate and lose, so it will dry.

3. If you use it for a long time to make notes, you will naturally use up the ink of the highlighter.
