The Hidden Mechanism Of The Stapler

Mar 16, 2022

Stapler is a commonly used office supplies, I believe everyone has used it, stapler is generally used to bind paper and documents, but do you know? In fact, there is a "small organ" hidden on the stapler, many people do not know its role, today I will teach you a trick to use the stapler correctly, let's learn it with me, learn to use it for a lifetime!

I don't know if you have found such a "small mechanism" when using the stapler, that is, there will be a small iron sheet like this on the base of the stapler, and there are two sets of grooves of different sizes, almost all the staples have it, do you know what it is used for?

In fact, this small iron sheet can be rotated, there is a switch at the bottom of the stapler, just hold down the iron sheet on this switch to rotate. Usually, when we use a stapler to bind paper, the nails are all facing inward; then we try to turn the group with the larger grooves, and if we use this set of large grooves to bind, the nails are facing outwards in reverse.

The role of these two sets of different grooves is not the same, and the reverse of the nail mouth of the binding needle is also different, which depends on their own needs, but it is easier to remove the staple needle if the nail mouth is outward.
