How to properly store and manage rolled sticky notes

Nov 03, 2021

Palletizing method

If the paper rolls into the warehouse are to be stored for a long time, they should be stacked vertically. Vertical stacking can prevent the deformation of the paper roll, the stacking is relatively stable, and the stacking can be higher, which can increase the warehouse capacity and make full use of the storage space. However, when checking the variety, tube number, and checking the weight, the vertical code is not as convenient as the horizontal code. Moreover, without the corresponding loading and unloading tools, the vertical code is relatively labor-intensive and easy to cause damage. Therefore, the domestic web is still Mainly horizontal code. The height of the horizontal code should not be too high, and it must be stacked neatly and securely to prevent deformation or collapse of the paper stack. Flat paper should be laid flat, each stack of flat paper should be stacked in a line, and the sides of the paper stack should be a flat surface to avoid the phenomenon of staggered front and rear and left and right bumps. Loose paper must be readjusted and repackaged. Regardless of roll paper or flat paper, there must be space between the stacks to facilitate viewing and shipping.

Moisture and sun protection

Paper generally has strong moisture absorption characteristics. Therefore, after the paper is damp, it will deform, and severely will produce mildew. Therefore, the environment where the paper is stacked must be clean, dry and well ventilated. The paper warehouse should be kept dry and the roof should not leak rain. The windows should be small and high to prevent sunlight exposure, otherwise the white paper will become brittle, yellow, and easy to break due to the heating of the paper and the large amount of evaporation of water.

Storage period

Generally, the storage period of paper should not exceed one year. Even if the storage conditions of the paper are good, the paper will change color and deteriorate if it is stored for a long time. If the paper is stored for two years, the copper paper will turn yellow and powdered: the newsprint will turn yellow and become brittle; the packaging paper will change color and the strength will decrease; the yellow cardboard and cardboard will become moldy and deteriorate. Therefore, when storing all kinds of paper, the principle of first-out must be grasped to avoid storage for too long and deterioration caused by loss.
