Finding Alternative Uses for Sticky Notes
Make mosaics. If you're feeling more creative, you can create a mosaic on the wall using brightly colored sticky notes.
Think of each note as a tile and experiment with different arrangements to create an eye-catching mosaic. Post-it mosaics are becoming more and more popular, and some people spend months using thousands of sticky notes to realize their vision.
Before you start gluing things to the wall, try to plan out the mosaic you're going to make.
Using graph paper and coloring in the squares can be a great way to try out some different designs on the paper before using the actual sticky notes.
Try some origami. You can use sticky notes as a raw material for various 3D models and origami creations. Mockups of old notes can be a fun way to reuse notes and celebrate tasks that have been accomplished. You can start by making a simple hat, a pelican, a jumping frog or a star.

Remember, if you're only using a small note, your options are limited.
Clean your keyboard. An often-overlooked use of post-it notes is as a handy cleaning device for keyboards. Keyboards often leave small clumps of lint and debris in the spaces around the keys that are difficult to clean up easily and effectively. You can clean these tight spaces with sticky tape.
Fold or tear the sticky note so the tape is on the sides and slide it into the space around the keys on the keyboard.
It's hard but satisfying work, and you'll be surprised how much dirt is on the keyboard.
Use sticky notes as coasters. You can use a small stack of sticky notes as a makeshift coaster to hold hot or cold beverages to help protect your furniture from any marks or stains. You'll have to have some sticky notes on hand, not just one, to help ensure that the liquid from your drink doesn't get to your table through the coaster.
If you have sticky notes in a variety of colors, choose those that are not as brightly colored.
Avoiding neon or highly saturated colors reduces the chance of color running and staining furniture.
